Welcome
German Embassy Muscat
Visa applications for Afghan nationals can only be processed by the German Embassy in Muscat if the applicant's habitual residence is in Oman. This requires the applicant to have resided in Oman for at least six months prior to scheduling an appointment and not to have entered the country solely for the purpose of applying for a visa.
Applications for national visas may be submitted either in Islamabad (for family reunification, studies, language courses, employment, etc.) or in Tehran (for family reunification only). Appointments must be scheduled through the German Embassy in Kabul's online booking system via this link . There are no alternative pathways via other countries for this process. The required documentation is also available on the embassy’s website.
Please refrain from making inquiries about this procedure to the Visa Section of the German Embassy in Muscat.
